Native Shoes: Development

I began in a Product Coordination role and transitioned into Footwear Development while at Native Shoes, allowing me to strengthen both my organizational skillset and technical understanding of the footwear critical path. In this role, I gained hands-on experience with alternative shoe construction methods and explored innovative materials beyond traditional footwear manufacturing.

I developed a strong foundation in surface application techniques, including cold transfer graphics, glitter application, and thermo-wrap finishes, while building a detailed understanding of graphic layout specifications and production requirements.

In addition to inline seasonal development, I worked on special collaboration projects, including SMU partnerships in Taiwan and the NUNUNU collaboration. I supported the full development process from initial concept through to final approval, including material development, fittings, and cross-functional communication to ensure each project aligned with both creative vision and production standards.

Below is a selection of projects I contributed to during my time at Native. Please click images to view files and details.
