Zandra Rhodes x John Fluevog Collab
I contributed to two Zandra Rhodes x John Fluevog collaborations, supporting both material development and accessory design.
For the initial collection, I worked on developing custom materials used across the footwear line, and in the second collaboration, I worked on the development and design of several accessories, including a crossbody bag designed to double as a work belt, an idea inspired by Zandra and John’s hands-on, multidisciplinary creative practices such as drawing, gardening, and just in general tinkering.
The second collection also included silk bandanas, scrunchies, and headbands, where I worked on the graphic layouts, packaging and product development to create more price-accessible pieces within the collaboration.
Lastly the collection also included a reversible bucket hat featuring Zandra’s print on one side, and a contrasting material on the other.
I worked on the material development, colourway layout and product development for this item.
Material Development
For the first Zandra Rhodes x John Fluevog collaboration, I led material development, translating Zandra’s expressive textile language into production-ready applications across leather and woven textiles.
Developed leather print layouts based on Zandra’s artwork
Interpreted textures into repeat structures for both leather and jacquard materials
Developed woven layouts and coordinated artwork for textile production
Led material review and approval across sampling stages
Texture and print exploration focused on bridging textile design with footwear application, including:
Satin weaves, jacquards, and chenille textures
Digital and 3D printing techniques
Flocking applications to introduce dimensional surface treatments
Accessory Design & Development
For the second collaboration between Zandra and Fluevog I developed a range of accessories including silk scarves, scrunchies and head bands - as well as a functional crossbody bag

A functional accessory designed to transition between a crossbody bag and a work wear belt - inspired by Zandra and John’s hand’s on creative practises.

Silk Scarves, Headbands & Scrunchies
I developed a range of high-quality silk accessories—including bandanas, fringe scarves, scrunchies, and headbands.
Using artwork groupings of the artwork “Mr Man” created by Zandra and her team to translate key visual elements of the collaboration into accessible, price point focused accessories
Reversible Bucket Hat
I developed the custom printed material featuring Zandra’s print, and sourced a water-resistant textile to achieve a fully reversible construction. I worked with a local factory to support both development and production.
